ComprePension Terms and Conditions of Use

Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the ComprePension pension administration portal, including its websites, applications, administrative functions, participant self-service features, benefit calculation tools, documents, reports, and related services (collectively, the “Portal”).

By accessing or using the Portal, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to comply with these Terms, together with the applicable ComprePension Privacy Policy and any additional requirements established by your pension plan, retirement system, employer, or other organization sponsoring or administering your retirement benefits (“Plan Sponsor”).

If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not access or use the Portal.

Policy History

The effective date of this Policy is August 12, 2026.

Purpose of the Portal

The Portal is designed to support authorized pension administration and participant self-service activities. Depending on the services made available by the applicable Plan Sponsor, the Portal may permit users to review pension information, perform benefit estimates and what-if calculations, access retirement documents, update authorized participant information, generate forms or reports, and communicate with pension administration personnel.

Availability of individual functions may vary by Plan Sponsor, pension plan, participant status, security role, and contractual configuration.

Eligibility and Authorized Access

Access to the Portal is limited to authorized users. Users may include pension plan participants, beneficiaries where authorized, Plan Sponsor personnel, pension administrators, consultants, actuaries, support personnel, and other individuals granted access for legitimate retirement plan administration purposes.

Users must access only the accounts, information, functions, and records for which they have been authorized. Unauthorized access or attempted access to another person’s information or restricted administrative functionality is prohibited.

Account Registration and Security

Users may be required to complete account registration, identity verification, email confirmation, single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, one-time passcode verification, or other security procedures before accessing the Portal.

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their credentials and authentication information. Passwords, authentication codes, security responses, and other credentials must not be shared with another person.

Users must promptly report suspected unauthorized account access, compromised credentials, or other security concerns to the applicable Plan Sponsor or designated support contact.

Acceptable Use

Authorized users agree to:

  • Use the Portal only for authorized pension, retirement, benefits, or administrative purposes.
  • Provide accurate information when submitting or updating information through the Portal.
  • Comply with applicable security and authentication requirements.
  • Respect the confidentiality of participant, beneficiary, employer, and Plan Sponsor information.
  • Use documents, reports, and information obtained through the Portal only for authorized purposes.

Prohibited Activities

Users must not engage in activities including:

  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, databases, or administrative functions.
  • Sharing credentials or permitting unauthorized individuals to use an account.
  • Introducing malicious software, code, viruses, ransomware, or other harmful components.
  • Attempting to bypass, disable, probe, or interfere with security controls.
  • Using automated tools to scrape, extract, overload, or disrupt the Portal without authorization.
  • Altering, falsifying, or improperly manipulating pension or participant information.
  • Using the Portal for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or unrelated commercial purposes.
  • Copying or distributing confidential information without authorization.

Pension Benefit Estimates and What-If Calculations

The Portal may provide pension benefit estimates, projections, and what-if calculations based on information available to the system, applicable plan provisions, assumptions, calculation rules, dates selected by the user, compensation data, service information, and other relevant factors.

Unless expressly identified by the applicable Plan Sponsor as an official final benefit determination, calculations generated through the Portal are estimates provided for informational and retirement planning purposes only.

An estimate does not create or modify a right to benefits and does not supersede governing plan documents, collective bargaining agreements, applicable law, official participant records, administrative determinations, or formal benefit calculations. If there is a discrepancy, the governing plan documents and official records will control, subject to applicable law and Plan Sponsor procedures.

Accuracy of Information

ComprePension seeks to present information supplied or authorized by the applicable Plan Sponsor accurately. However, pension information may depend on data received from employers, payroll systems, human resources systems, administrators, participants, actuaries, and other authorized sources.

Users should promptly report information they believe is inaccurate. Corrections to official employment, compensation, service, beneficiary, or pension records may require review and approval by the applicable Plan Sponsor or pension administrator.

Forms, Letters, Documents, and PDF Exports

The Portal may permit users to retrieve, generate, upload, or export pension-related forms, statements, letters, reports, and PDF documents. Documents generated through the Portal are based on information available at the time of generation and may be subject to subsequent review, verification, or approval.

Users are responsible for protecting downloaded documents containing personal or confidential information after those documents leave the Portal.

Pension Benefit Estimates and What-If Calculations

Information processed through the Portal is handled in accordance with the ComprePension Privacy Policy, applicable agreements with the Plan Sponsor, and applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

For many implementations, the Plan Sponsor determines the purposes for which participant information is processed, and ComprePension processes the information to provide contracted pension administration and technology services. Users should review the Privacy Policy for additional information regarding data collection, use, disclosure, retention, and security.

Intellectual Property

The Portal, including its software, interface, workflows, design elements, documentation, calculations, configuration components, and related technology, may contain intellectual property owned by or licensed to ComprePension or its service providers.

Except for rights expressly granted to authorized users, no ownership rights are transferred through use of the Portal. Users may not reproduce, reverse engineer, modify, distribute, sublicense, sell, or commercially exploit Portal technology except as expressly authorized by written agreement or applicable law.

Availability and Maintenance

ComprePension seeks to maintain reliable Portal availability. Access may occasionally be interrupted or limited due to scheduled maintenance, software releases, security updates, infrastructure maintenance, emergency maintenance, telecommunications interruptions, events outside reasonable control, or other operational requirements.

Where applicable, availability commitments and service levels are governed by the agreement between ComprePension and the Plan Sponsor rather than these user Terms.

Security Monitoring and Audit Logging

Use of the Portal may be monitored and logged for security, administration, troubleshooting, compliance, and operational purposes. Audit records may include authentication activity, administrative actions, data changes, document activity, calculation activity, import activity, and other security-relevant events.

Users should have no expectation that activities performed within an authorized business or administrative account are exempt from security and audit monitoring.

Third-Party Services and Links

The Portal may integrate with or provide links to services operated by third parties. Third-party services may be governed by separate terms, privacy policies, and security practices.

ComprePension is not responsible for third-party services that are outside its control, except to the extent responsibilities are expressly established by an applicable contract or law.

Disclaimer of Professional Advice

Information provided through the Portal is intended to support pension administration and retirement planning. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Portal content does not constitute legal, tax, investment, accounting, or individualized financial advice.

Users should consult qualified professionals or the applicable Plan Sponsor regarding questions requiring professional advice or an official interpretation of pension plan provisions.

Suspension or Termination of Access

ComprePension or the applicable Plan Sponsor may suspend, restrict, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect security, respond to suspected misuse, comply with legal requirements, address a change in participant or employment status, administer access rights, or enforce these Terms.

Termination of Portal access does not alter pension rights established under applicable plan documents or law.

Disclaimer of Warranties

To the extent permitted by applicable law and subject to contractual commitments between ComprePension and the applicable Plan Sponsor, the Portal is provided for authorized pension administration and participant service purposes. ComprePension does not warrant that every function will operate without interruption or that information originating from third-party or Plan Sponsor systems will always be complete or error-free.

Nothing in this section limits obligations expressly established in an applicable agreement between ComprePension and the Plan Sponsor.

Limitation of Liability

Any limitations of liability applicable to ComprePension’s provision of services are governed primarily by the applicable agreement between ComprePension and the Plan Sponsor and by applicable law.

These Terms are not intended to expand, reduce, or replace contractual liability provisions agreed between ComprePension and a Plan Sponsor or any rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

Governing Terms and Plan Documents

If information displayed in the Portal conflicts with official pension plan documents or legally controlling retirement plan provisions, the applicable governing plan documents and controlling legal requirements will prevail.

For institutional clients, the applicable services agreement, statement of work, data protection requirements, and other executed agreements govern the commercial relationship between ComprePension and the Plan Sponsor.

Changes to These Terms

ComprePension may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in Portal functionality, operational practices, security requirements, legal requirements, or contractual obligations. The current version will identify its effective or revision date.

Where appropriate, users may be notified of material changes through the Portal or other authorized communication channels. Continued use following the effective date of revised Terms constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Questions concerning pension eligibility, official benefit determinations, participant records, or plan provisions should be directed to the applicable Plan Sponsor or pension administrator.
